    Just the Facts:
    • Nissan will supply Mitsubishi in Japan with a version of its luxury Fuga sedan, beginning in summer 2012.
    • So far, while Nissan rebadges the Fuga in the U.S. as the Infiniti M, there is no plan to bring the Mitsubishi version to the States.
    • Nissan next year in Japan also plans to sell a version of Mitsubishi's Minicab-MiEV commercial electric vehicle.

TOKYO — Nissan will supply Mitsubishi in Japan with a version of its luxury Fuga sedan, beginning in summer 2012, under an expanded agreement signed on Thursday.

While Nissan rebadges the Fuga in the U.S. as the Infiniti M, there is no plan to bring the Mitsubishi version to the States.

The latest agreement, which builds on an earlier 2010 pact, also calls for Nissan next year in Japan to sell a version of Mitsubishi's Minicab-MiEV, a boxy, battery-powered commercial microvan that shares its electric drivetrain with the Mitsubishi i.

Under the original 2010 agreement, Nissan will provide its NV200 compact van to Mitsubishi in Japan, beginning next month.

Inside Line says: Mitsubishi hasn't had a big sedan since the demise in 2005 of the slow-selling Diamante and the earlier Debonair, which was produced until 1998.

Why not bring back the Mitsubishi Sigma? Remember the last model sold here in 1990? It was great.

It's either Mitsubishi is having trouble with management or the Japanese are just stubborn people. Can't these Japanese companies see the threat from South Korea and even the American car makers?

Mitsubishi already killed off the Galant and the next Evo might be hybrid so there is nothing to expect from them now. What Mitsubishi should do is get back to the drawing board and overhaul all of its current lineup.

Imagine if Mitsubishi pulled off a "Sonata/Optima" worthy competitor then badge it as a Galant. That might in some way help them gain some sales.

P.S. I think Mitsubishi should consider making a Hyundai Genesis competitor then call it a debonair.

"The article said they DO NOT have plan to sell this "M"itsubitchi outside of radioactive island."
Your sentence is awkward and you should have used the plural form of "plan."

"It cease to amaze me how illiterate some of y'all people are, unless of course you're just a forum troll."
You forgot the word never before "cease" and "cease" should have been pluralized in your criticism. That is like saying; "It (stop) to amaze me how illiterate some of y'all people are, unless of course you're just a forum troll."
Moreover, the southernism y'all is not a real word, and your punctuation is awkward.
Your criticism should have read: It never ceases to amaze me how illiterate some you people are. Unless of course, you're just a forum troll.
Perhaps you shouldn't criticize others until you develop a better understanding of the english language.
