The Montero Sport CityCruiser, a project vehicle by Mitsubishi Motors and HKS USA, is an SUV that doesn't measure performance in off-road ability. Featuring an HKS turbocharger, intercooler, turbo timer, exhaust manifold, Super Mega flow intake, Super Sequential blow-off valve, electronic valve controller and aluminized exhaust system, HKS was able to bump horsepower from the stock 165 to an estimated 210.
Further upgrades include 18-inch Enkei wheels wearing Yokohama AVS/T tires, a lowered suspension and cross-drilled rotors. A Japanese-market body kit and HKS graphics on the outside, plus power adjustable Recaro front seats and a 300-watt Infinity sound system on the inside enhance the CityCruiser's look.
With two-wheel drive and over 200 horsepower, the CityCruiser is more at home on the racetrack than in the outback.
