CYPRESS, California — The new 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback five-door will be priced from under $20,000. The Sportback GTS carries a sticker price of $19,910 with five-speed manual gearbox and $20,910 with six-speed CVT automatic, while the Sportback Ralliart retails for $28,310. All prices include a $720 shipping charge.
The potent Ralliart version is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 237 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. The Sportback Ralliart shares the six-speed Twin Clutch-Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST) and magnesium paddle shifters with the Lancer Evo.
The standard Lancer Sportback GTS is fitted with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque.
