TOKYO — Mitsubishi on Tuesday offered more details about the Europe-spec version of its i MiEV electric car, saying it will arrive in 14 countries in December with prices ranging from the U.S. equivalent of $41,915-$44,455 before any government incentives. The Euro version of the i MiEV will be shown at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.
Changes versus the Japanese version of the car are minimal. They include revised bumpers to meet European Union regulations, a "rearranged center stack" and "improved interior comfort." The Euro-spec i MiEV also gets stability control and side and curtain airbags.
Mitsubishi said it expects the car to "remain under" the U.S. equivalent of $38,106 in "a majority of countries it is to be sold in." Those countries include France, the U.K., Germany, Spain and Sweden.

Mitsubishi should bring this to the States. If they sell ten of them, they could double their company sales from last month. Why don't Suzuki and Mistubishi just pull the trigger and get it over with? The writing is on the wall for these two airport rentals providers. BYE-BYE!

The i-Miev is a very competent EV. It has won many awards in Japan. I'm sure it will do really well.
