LOS ANGELES — The rollout of the 2012 Mitsubishi i MiEV will begin in November 2011 in California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii, said the Japanese automaker at the North American debut of the EV at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Mitsubishi said the electric vehicle will debut in the northeastern U.S. by March 2012, with nationwide availability by the end of 2012. It has yet to release official pricing on the i MiEV, saying again that it is expected to come in at around $30,000.
The U.S. edition is nearly a foot longer and considerably wider and roomier than the i MiEV that's sold in the Japanese domestic market.
A Euro-spec version, with few changes from the Japan model, was shown at the 2010 Paris Auto Show.

I didn't know Mitsubishi was still in business here. I haven't seen a new one, let alone an operating dealership, for years.
