CHICAGO — Mitsubishi will unveil its face-lifted 2009 Galant sedan at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show, with revised sheet metal and new Sport editions.
Offered with a choice of three engines and in four trim levels, the '09 Galant gets a new front end and modestly reworked body panels. At the top of the range is the Galant Ralliart, with new Galant Sport models, including a Sport V6, slotted below it.
All '09 Galants get a standard Sportronic automatic transmission with manual shift capability. Four-cylinder models have a four-speed, while V6s come with a five-speed.
Mitsubishi is offering Sport value packages that come bundled with such features as a power glass sunroof, heated seats, steering-wheel controls and premium audio systems.
