WASHINGTON — Mitsubishi is recalling 19,410 2006-'08 Endeavors with manual air-conditioning because the air flow from the air vents may randomly change direction and the temperature may briefly cycle between hot and cold, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
"This condition could affect defroster performance, resulting in poor windshield visibility, and potentially cause a crash," said NHTSA in its recalls summary of the problem. The problem is due to an incorrect heater controller signal.
Mitsubishi dealers will inspect for damage and, if necessary, repair the mode door shaft.
The recall is expected to begin on December 3, with owners in northern states contacted first. Owners may contact Mitsubishi at (800) 222-0037.

I would say this is a timely call by MItsubishi. Customer safety is the most important criteria for car manufacturers. I hope Mitsubishi can sort this problem efficiently.

Mitsubishi endeavor would be a great choice for someone wanting a quintessential family hauler! I think the warranties offered by Mitsubishi
endeavor are the longest in is class, which make it technically the safest and reliable car in the affordable midsized SUVs market!Mazda CX-7 has
more fuel economy of 20/28 mpg compared to Endeavor's 15/21 mileage on highways, but if you want a performance powertrain which outlasts
others, then Endeavor is your call! It moves are fabulous! The V6 engine and the automatic transmission deliver smoothe and clean moves! The ride
on the pavements is comfortable! The overall performance is on par with others in its league, so what makes this sedan stand out is its 10 year
warranty of 1,00,000 mile V6 engine!
