Katy Perry and The Blonds Team Up on Life Ball Mini 2009

VIENNA, Austria — Europe's biggest AIDS charity event is teaming with American pop songster Katy Perry, American design duo The Blonds and BMW to create the Life Ball Mini 2009.

The one-off Mini Convertible boasts a pink leopard-skin pattern that, um, stands out. It is the work of Phillipe and David Blond, who have dressed such celebrities as Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Shakira, Madonna and Britney Spears, and who created the Mini "in Katy Perry style."

Perry, who came to fame last year with the hit tune, "I Kissed a Girl," will perform live at the 17th Life Ball on May 16 in Vienna. The Life Ball Mini will be raffled off in a prize drawing at the event. All proceeds from the event are used to help fight HIV/AIDS.

Inside Line says: We're guessing this may be your only chance to win a pink leopard-skin Mini. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
