From the look of this prototype, the Cooper S convertible will offer different front- and rear-end styling than the Cooper S coupe. The Cooper S convertible has a less aggressive grille, and an overall look that's less sporty and more elegant. The front bumper has revised intakes, repositioned foglamps and more intricate detailing.
In the rear, the convertible S's bumper loses the bold grille-mesh panel in favor of a simply sculpted fascia, with a subtle flare around the central exhaust tips.
What this means to you: Mini is trading sport for elegance on the new Cooper S convertible. — Kelly Toepke, News Editor
