BRAND, Germany — German tuner Mansory revealed the Cormeum, its radical version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show.

The owner of Mansory personally named the Cormeum after an aria titled "Vide Cor Meum" (Latin for "behold now my heart"), according to the company. The aria was written by composer Patrick Cassidy for the film Hannibal, Ridley Scott's 2001 sequel to The Silence of the Lambs.

Mansory upgraded the already finely tuned 6.3-liter V8 with a more efficient intake and stainless-steel exhaust system. Engine compression is also increased, raising output to 660 horsepower from the stock 563 hp.

Mansory plans to limit production to 15 cars, but says an 800-hp version is in the works for those looking for even more muscle.

Mansory has never been shy when it comes to designing exteriors, but it rises to a new level with the Cormeum. The body kit and exterior modifications include a new front fascia, rear bumper, beefy fenders, side skirts and an oversize rear spoiler that is sure to not be overlooked. Mansory also adds a rear diffuser to help decrease drag. Most of the body pieces are carbon fiber, which helped to slice 198 pounds from the SLS AMG's curb weight.

To add to its aggressive looks, Mansory fits 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheels. The Cormeum's ride height is lowered 0.7 inch, thanks to new springs and dampers.

The Cormeum interior includes carbon-fiber trim that matches the body, custom leather stitching, aluminum pedals, a performance steering wheel and a redesigned center console.

Awful lot of money for 100 horses and 200 pounds.

I love the look of the aero, but not the CF.  Should have painted leaving CF stripes.

Yes, they managed to make an ugly car even butt-uglier. It looks like the car the baddies-who-die drive in the "Speed Racer" cartoons.

Like a bastard mix between an SLR and a Ferrari 599... I'm actually a fan of some of their designs, but this looks terrible.
