MIAMI — Mercedes AMG has teamed with powerboat company Cigarette Racing to create a one-off boat that should turn heads at the 2010 Miami Boat Show in February. The Cigarette Racing boat will be on display alongside the SLS AMG, which the companies say was the inspiration for the waterborne concept.
The Mercedes AMG Cigarette boat has a special lightweight design, a racing-designed hull and, the companies say, more than 100 innovations to improve aerodynamics and driving performance. Top speed is the equivalent of more than 120 mph from a pair of twin staggered engines. Other technical specifications were not announced.
Cigarette Racing, in operation since 1969, produces several luxury power boat models each year.
The boat will be on display from February 11 through 15 at the show. Until then, a countdown to the unveiling date can be found at Cigarette Racing's Web site.

And now we know that McLaren SLR wasn't a large enough phallic symbol for those crazy Germans.

Now you can be a pretentious douchebag on the water as well! (Oh wait, that was always possible.)
