STOCKACH, Germany — German tuner Kicherer has created a new Carbon Series edition of the high-performance Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG SUV.
The Mercedes specialist has fine-tuned the chassis and massaged the AMG engine to deliver 532 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque. The ML63 Carbon Series now has a top speed, according to Kicherer, "far in excess" of 155 mph.
Among the additional hardware upgrades are a stainless-steel exhaust system and a set of massive 23-inch alloy rims with low-profile performance rubber.
Kicherer also fits an aero body kit, then covers the exterior in matte foil. The cockpit is finished in leather and Alcantara and trimmed — naturally — in carbon-fiber.
Inside Line says: The carbon kick continues on the Continent.
