The 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes in two flavors: coupe and sedan. Mercedes-Benz may be famed for its extravagant flagship cars, but at the heart of the company's success is the low-key, hard-working E-Class. The E-Class sedan is used as a cab or livery car in much of the world, but in North America both the sedan and coupe are luxury machines. A convertible is also likely to appear this year.
While the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E550 is available with V8 engines, the E350 coupe and sedan are powered by an unpretentious 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V6.
