FICHTENBERG, Germany — LSD Doors has come up with a new method of fitting its trademark wing doors: a Guided Roller System, employed on the company's latest conversion of the Mercedes-Benz CL.
The big Mercedes coupe also happens to feature big doors. By integrating its new GRS system into the hinges, LSD provides a more stable door opening, including a catch that locks the door in the fully open position.
The doors swing outward and upward and are easy to install without painting or welding. A certificate from the German TUV verifies that the LSD wing doors meet all applicable safety standards in that country.
