HIROSHIMA, Japan — Mazda officially announced its lineup for the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon on Monday, saying it will present 13 vehicles, including the Mazda RX-8 Circuit Trial courtesy of Mazdaspeed.

Joining the RX-8 Circuit Trial will be the Mazda Axela Circuit Trial, the Mazda Demio Circuit Trial and the Mazda Atenza Circuit Trial. "Mazdaspeed has applied its extensive knowledge of Mazda vehicles to produce these racing-circuit-ready versions," Mazda said in a statement. "They combine everyday driving comfort with equipment and performance upgrades to maximize enjoyment at the racetrack."

Upgrades include M'z Custom parts, Recaro bucket seats and large-diameter tires and alloy wheels by Yokohama Rubber Company.

The slate of customized Mazda Biante minivans includes the Mazda Biante Columbia Sport MTB Special. It has been tweaked by Columbia Sportswear Company, the American outdoor outfitter. Details include replacing the third row with a sliding bike rack.
