The new Mazdaspeed3 debuts here in Geneva--kind of. This is the European 2010 Mazda 3 MPS but it’s pretty close to the car we’ll see here in the US.   Like the standard 2010 Mazda 3, the Mazdaspeed version is a mild update of the previous car. It uses the same turbocharged, direct-injection four-cylinder engine as before and rides on a relatively unchanged front-wheel-drive platform. Horsepower and torque numbers haven't been finalized for the U.S., but don't expect them to change much either.    What has changed is the look – the Mazdaspeed3 now wears the same happy expression as the standard 3. On this MPS model, front and rear bumpers are unique as are new 18-inch wheels and a revised rear spoiler.    Expect to see the final U.S.-spec version of the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 on sale this fall.
