Maybach: What's New for 2010?

What's New for Every 2010 Maybach

2010 Maybach 57: Once again Daimler's over-the-top full-boat luxury ride is available in this relatively short-wheelbase version for owners who might want to do the driving themselves. It's offered for 2010 in standard 543-horsepower 57 and uprated 604-hp 57S editions. Either is absurdly opulent and now includes Bluetooth connectivity for the rear-seat passengers along with bigger side mirrors. Too plebeian for you? Try the recently announced 57 Zeppelin, which revives a name from Maybach's glorious past that nobody in America seems to know anything about. At any rate, the Zeppelin includes an extra dose of power (up to 631 hp and 739 pound-feet of torque), along with two-tone paint, Zeppelin badges, 20-inch, 12-spoke wheels and — no kidding — a perfume atomizer for the rear cabin. Oh, and that perfumer squirter is an extra-cost option.

2010 Maybach 62: The Maybach 62 is the Maybach for the owner who would rather be driven than drive. That would explain the full power-closing rear doors and optional power glass partition with retractable curtain and intercom system. Maybach's big boy is available for 2010 in standard 62, 62S and 62 Zeppelin models. Each carries the same power ratings as the 57 models. Additionally, Maybach will be happy to build you a 62S Landaulet, which has a retractable top over the rear seat, Antigua white paint, shiny white wheels and various other doodads.
