2011 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S Awards Edition: 2010 Geneva Auto Show

    12 Ratings

MODENA, Italy — Maserati will unveil a special Quattroporte Sport GT S Awards Edition at the upcoming 2010 Geneva Auto Show. It will reach U.S. dealers in the second half of 2010 as a 2011 model.

The Awards Edition is finished in a new quarzo fuso, which Maserati describes as "a pearlescent metallic gray with golden nuanced color," with burnished chrome accents and 20-inch Multi Trident dark gray satin-finish wheels. Brembo has provided new hand-polished brake calipers.

The cabin has seats upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and perforated Alcantara, plus brushed aluminum door sills and piano-black satin-finish wood moldings.

This car is NOT getting old. It does NOT need an exterior redesign. The only thing that can be improved is maybe a new interior layout (Something about that center console just doesn't fit with the rest, maybe the buttons) and of course a technology (navi, stereo, etc) refresh wouldn't hurt either. But the main thing Maserati should work on is building this car as reliable as a Lexus or Mercedes, no one wants to pay $150k and have unneccesary servicing all the time. My dad really wants one but I tell him to hold off until the brand can prove to be reliable. He keeps his cars for sometimes 10 years...

I can't believe this is the best they can do , I like to have one myself  nevertheless  the Trident deserves cutting edge  Italian design . Give the drivetrain to Zagato  and  Bertone'    ItalDesign  tell them to geaux wild. But deliver something that will sell.

This car is really good-looking, but needs an update.
