    Just the Facts:
    • A German twist on an Italian sports car.
    • A matte-black exterior finish is complemented by gloss-black rims and a black leather interior with contrasting red stitching.
    • Anderson boosts output on the 4.7-liter V8 from 440 to 492 horsepower.

DUSSELDORF, Germany — Who better to tweak an Italian exotic car than a German tuner? Anderson Germany steps up to the plate with its take on the Maserati GranTurismo S, dubbed Superior Black Edition.

The key word is black — as in the matte-black exterior finish, gloss-black grille and window frames, black tinted head- and taillamps and gloss-black 21-inch rims wrapped in low-profile rubber.

The cabin is trimmed in black leather with contrasting red stitching and accented in carbon fiber.

To give the car an even more wicked look, Anderson has lowered the suspension, then tricked out the exterior with carbon-fiber mirrors, air intakes and a lip spoiler.

Among the "gentle corrections" it has made to the Maserati 4.7-liter V8, Anderson has fiddled with the ECU and fitted a sport exhaust system, resulting in an increase in output from 440 to 492 horsepower.

like everything except the flat black paint.........I am not even a big fan of "regular" black as I hand wash and wax and have owned a few ( but never again) .........so this "flat" look is sort of bizzarre to me.........Guess its easy to wax though.......as you probably never need to .

I hate the rims, and the front end now looks unfinished.  They didn't ruin a beautiful design, but they definitely made it worse.  The interior is ugly as well.

I guess I'm one of the few that like the look.  It's a more aggressive look for this car.  I like it!!

They took imho the most beautiful current production car and ruined it.

They even forgot to paint it.

Yeah. Way to take "Style" out of the "Italian" with this one.

Alcantera never really translated "good taste in style" to begin with; Alcantera is Mediocre taste for styling. So is carbon fiber and matt-black paint.

The Germans really know how to make cars fit for the cocks.

Wow. Way to take all the feeling and personality out of the design. They should have just concentrated on what Germans do best and left the Italian part alone.
