The GranTurismo MC is a thoroughbred developed on the track, with a specially tuned version of the Maserati 4.7-liter V8, which delivers 444 horsepower and 374 pound-feet of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an ZF six-speed automatic gearbox.

It's far from the quickest of the bunch, but this car isn't about brute force.  If all you wanted was speed, get a GT-R or Vette and save yourself some cash. Also, you'd have to be smoking a something illegal to believe a stock Hyundai Genesis can "keep up" with this.  The 370z or a Mustang 5.0 has better numbers, but even then its a toss up.  Magazine racing is fun, but pretty much worthless in real world scenarios anyways.  I do agree that for $139k, it should be faster, especially if you claim it to be the fastest Maserati in North America.

    great looking and sounding car
    overweight
    overpriced
tranny is a joke for this type of car
in the end its a detuned Ferrari w/ suspect quality.

If you want one, wait about 2yrs get it 50% off.

The Corvette ZR1 is cheaper and faster (0-60, and top speed).

I am suprised they could not make it a bit faster.  For gosh sake a Hyundai Genesis can keep up with it.  Though one of the best exhaust notes in the business goes to Maserati.
