- 2011 Mahindra Compact Truck: This new pickup from India is expected to go on sale by the end of 2010. Powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine hooked to a six-speed automatic transmission, the Mahindra truck is said to get as much as 30 mpg on the highway. There will be two- and four-door models offered with a choice of either two- or four-wheel drive.

- 2012 Mahindra SUV: A midsize SUV is planned for release in 2011. It will most likely use the same drivetrain as the compact truck and display similar styling.

Weren't these guys already supposed to be here by now? I'm looking forward to the Scorpio, because it seems like it'd be taking the long vacated place the Geo Tracker, Daihitsu Rocky, and Ford Bronco II held--brassy cute-ute's that are cheap and fun to run around town in. Where is their dealer network?
