    Just the Facts:
    • 2011 Lincoln MKX is rated at 19/26 mpg city/highway.
    • Its EPA rating leads the luxury midsize crossover segment.
    • 2011 MKX shares its new 3.7-liter V6 with the redesigned 2011 Ford Edge.

DEARBORN, Michigan — The redesigned 2011 Lincoln MKX gets better city and highway fuel economy than any competitors in the luxury midsize crossover segment, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.

The new MKX sports EPA ratings of 19 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway — better than such rivals as the BMW X5, Cadillac SRX and Lexus RX 350.

The 2011 MKX shares its new 3.7-liter V6 with the redesigned 2011 Ford Edge. The engine delivers 305 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

Ford engineers applied several fuel-saving strategies, including battery management and "aggressive deceleration fuel shutoff."

Inside Line says: The more powerful, more fuel-efficient engine isn't the only shocker. Wait until Lincoln loyalists get a load of that redesigned front end. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent

it looks better then the current one. I remember in the Mustang review that this engine lacks low end tq. I wonder if its better in this car.

Front end looks amazing, side profile looks wierd.  I cannot be the only who thinks those rims are hideous.
