LOS ANGELES — Ford has freshened and upgraded the 2013 Lincoln MKT luxury crossover, with a revised front end, new wheels, more power and some serious tech upgrades. The 2013 MKT debuts this week at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show and goes on sale next spring.
The standard 3.7-liter V6 now delivers 300 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, compared with last year's 268 hp and 270 lb-ft. Fuel economy climbs to 17 mpg in city driving and 25 mpg on the highway.
The optional twin-turbo EcoBoost 3.5-liter V6 makes 355 hp and returns 16/city and 22/highway. Both engines come equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
Ford has further enhanced the 2013 MKT with larger brakes, electric power steering and revised instrumentation with two full-color reconfigurable LCD screens. A heated steering wheel is a new option, as are inflatable rear seatbelts for second-row passengers, as well as a Lane Keeping System.
Inside Line says: A bit more refined, but not much better looking.

My 2010 has 43000 on it, at this time and has been problem free, will sure enough consider the 2013, love this car. Have had a BMW 5 series, Aviator, MKX, prior to my current MKT, nothing else out there is as cool.

This is quietest, smoothest car I've ever owned! The grill bothers you? Show me a "good looking" grill, at least it doesn't have big logos on it. I'm just getting ready to turn in my 2010 on a 2013. I've owned a 911 cabriolet, BMW Z3, BMW 325, and still own a 2005 Saleen Mustang. The MKT rocks for what it is, a twin turbo luxury crossover (station wagon). Ford didn't take a bailout and I support that. I even bought my son a 2011 Mustang. GO FORD!

WE WANT AN AVIATOR PLEASE
I really don't understand why ford keeps this model alive it is the ugliest crossover by far.
FORD ONLY SHOULD REVIVE THE EXPLORER BASE AVIATOR, with the power of the ecoboost will be a huge success.

I'll take mine in black. No kids will ever want to get into it--they'd be too scared to!
Reminds me of the Olds Silhoutee "dustbuster" http://www.edmunds.com/oldsmobile/silhouette/1990/

Again it looks better then the old one i love the new from the back was the biggest issue and they didn't touch it very bad choice FORD it should have taken on the look of the MKZ in the back. the interior always was gorgeous i love the new rim design it looks more sporty. they do ride very well and the eco-boost is the fastest in its class they're working on it just give them a shot

The potential buyer is Satan. The scariest looking car I've ever seen.

So the new design philosophy at the Lincoln is to take a vehicle that most thought was ugly and make it look far worse....
How is that supposed to sale more cars?

Lighten up guys!
The reason the auto world is flush with boring looking cars is because anytime an automaker steps out with something different we crush them. BMW 7 series last decade comes to mind (Bangle Butt), etc. Just so happens that Bangle Butt car is the top selling 7 series of all time. We need to embrace new looks and change. I've driven the 2010 Ecoboost MKT and it is a hoot to drive. This new version has a much better looking interior and I would submit the the old exterior is better than this one but neither is objectionable to me.
Relax and embrace new things...
