    DEARBORN, Michigan — Ford Motor has announced that its all-new 2010 Lincoln MKT, a premium companion to the Ford Flex, will reach dealers in late summer, priced from $44,995 for the front-wheel-drive edition and $49,995 for the four-wheel-drive variant with uplevel engine. Prices include shipping.

    The standard MKT gets a 268-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, while the high-end MKT will offer a 355-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Both engines are fitted with a six-speed automatic transmission.

    All MKT models will feature three rows of seats, plus rearview camera, adaptive headlamps, reverse-sensing parking assist, adjustable pedals, rain-sensing wipers, push-button start, color touchscreen for audio and HVAC controls, plus a 20GB hard drive for music storage.

    Inside Line says: Ford expects a fully loaded MKT to top out at around $55,000. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
