What's Special About It?
The Mark nameplate has long been an integral part of Lincoln's history. Every successor to Edsel Ford's original Continental of the 1940s has had the Mark name followed by a Roman numeral, starting with the Mark II of 1956 and ending with the Mark VIII of the 1990s. Naming its latest concept car the Mark X, Lincoln continues this tradition for its personal luxury coupe/convertible.
The Mark X is Lincoln's first two-seat luxury convertible roadster which features a power-folding, retractable, glass-roofed hardtop. Based on the rear-wheel-drive Ford Thunderbird, the Mark X displays an integrated exterior design theme with polished aluminum trim along the upper shoulder line and recessed door handles that are flush-mounted to the driver and passenger doors.
The Mark X's unique Lime Sorbet interior is resplendent with its sheepskin flooring and white Corian trim, a surface usually found on swanky kitchen countertops. A multifunctional seven-inch LCD information screen displays the navigation system, climate control and vehicle dynamics.

Will the Lincoln Mark X relly become a production car? it's so beautiful.
