    • 2012 Lincoln MKS: After upgrading the MKS with an Ecoboost engine for 2010, the rest of the car is expected to get a slight refresh for 2012.

    Lincoln MKT

    Lincoln MKX
    • 2014 Lincoln MKX: After a reskin for the 2011 model year, the MKX isn't likely to see many changes until a full redesign arrives in 2013.

    Lincoln MKZ
    • 2013 Lincoln MKZ: After a recent refresh, the Lincoln MKZ is headed for a full redesign in 2012. It's expected to share a common platform with the Ford Fusion and the European Ford Mondeo.

    Lincoln Navigator
    • 2013 Lincoln Navigator: A redesign planned for the 2013 model year is currently on hold. Ford may either delay it further or simply discontinue the Navigator entirely.

    Small Crossover
    • 2013 Lincoln Small Crossover: This new addition to the lineup is expected to be a rebadged version of the next-generation Ford Kuga.

    Small Sedan
    • 2012 Lincoln Small Sedan: Although not confirmed yet, Lincoln is considering a new small car based on the newest Ford Focus underpinnings. It could arrive as a traditional sedan or show up as a five-door hatchback similar to the Lincoln C concept shown at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.

I was at the recent NY Auto Show, and quite frankly, I was underwhelmed and sadly disapointed by what Linclon, and Cadillac had to offer.
I was most impressed by up-and-comer Hyundai, especially with its latest offering--the Equus.  That car would do both Lincoln and Cadillac proud.

Come on you guys, can't America field a true luxury car any more?

The high point of the Town Car was in 2003.  The top-of-the-line was introduced in January of 2003, when they introduced the "Spring-Special"  called simply "LIMITED" of which just 1,311  were manufactured.  After that run, the 2004s (being made in Canada) were being shipped to North America.  Little-by-little starting in 2004 thru 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 each year small features that were on 2003, 2002 and 2001 were quietly omitted from the build.  They were little, but useful conveniences and/or items that were handy.  A person would never miss them, **IF** they had NOT owned a 2003, 2002 or 2001, prior.

It seems to me that they are dumbing down the Lincoln line to place it at the high end of the former MERCURY line.  Cadillac is moving upscale, especially with its CTS-V Coupe line and Chrysler left the luxury field way back in 1993 when they built the last Imperial.
Lincoln is being hammered by Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jaguar and any other foreignors that wanna come here & eat our "cake".  Even our own government makes it ubber-easy for any new start up brand of car/truck to come here and make vehicles that will steal sales from American manufactures.
It's all a pity.  We are losing.  Don't believe me?  Okay.  Where is Pontiac?  Mercury ?  Oldsmobile  ? Imperial ?   GM today is 3 brands.  Cadillac, Buick & Chevrolet.  Ford Motor Company is just Lincoln & Ford.  Chrysler is only Chrysler & Dodge & Jeep.   Dodge CARS  and Buick may face the chopping block, next.  BUY AMERICAN while you still can !

I am on my 3rd Town Car.  This one is a LIMITED, a very rare model introduced at mid-year, 2003.  Has lots of litle stuff that was exclusive to it.  I only have 10,000 miles and it's showroom ++ condition.  I love the car - absolutely love it.  Now, they are killing it.  That sucks.  I took my T.C. in for routine service and they lent me a MKZ.  MKZ, my foot!  It's a Ford.
Now, that's not bad, but it's not worth all the extra money, simply because it is NOT a Lincoln !
I understand the 2010 is the last Town Car.  Don't look now, but....they have stripped of any/everything that was on earlier models, that you will not notice, until you own & drive it.
It's a fully equiped Merc Gr. Marquis with every option, hiding under a Town Car's skirt.

I was set to buy a 2012 Town Car - but it looks like I will look into a Volvo A80 Premier Elite!

To the guys on here that are over age fifty - - I pray thay somehow, someway that CRy-CO would bring out a kiiller light years ahead of anything out there ....  IMPERIAL  !

Based on this lineup, I don't see Lincoln as being relevant for years.  With no halo vehicle, it will simply be a bunch of rebadged Limited trim Ford vehicles with ugly grills

Lincoln has a very bright future ahead. If the design and quality remain ahead of the norm, Lincoln will succeed. I hope Lincoln doesn't follow in the footsteps of Cadillac and start producing vehicles in Mexico. Such action would push me over the edge; looking to other manufacturers for salvation.

On another note, I own a 2009 MKS AWD and am currently in the mindset to consider re-leasing the MKS AGAIN when my current lease expires. I'm very happy with the vehicle, for the most part. It's not perfect in every area, but the vehicle certainly satisfies in many ways.

If I'm real lucky, I will qualify for the Early Bird Lease Program through Ford Motor Credit, and turn my 2009 in early and swap it out for a 2011 model. My plan-exactly.

Judging by the reported future products, it looks like Lincoln will be in good shape for many years to come. Now, let's have some  names on the cars  that mean something,  not the alphabet soup so previlant in the luxury ranks today.
