    Just the Facts:
    • CEC offers a tuner kit for the 2011 Lexus LFA with the Nurburgring package.
    • The LFA kit doesn't include any performance modifications, just wheels and lots of carbon fiber.
    • CEC will only offer the kit to three customers.

    LOS ANGELES — American tuner Claus Ettensberger Corporation (CEC) has announced a Tuner Edition package for the 2011 Lexus LFA supercar. Only three LFA owners will be able to order the CEC upgrade kit.

    CEC is offering its kit only on the LFA equipped with the Nurburgring package.

    "We looked at the LFA and what Lexus engineers had done, and knew it would be crazy to try and improve it from a performance or engineering standpoint. It is just an engineering marvel, so we decided that we would try and visually individualize the car by making additions that would complement its stunning design features," said founder and CEO of CEC Claus Ettensberger.

    CEC's standout feature is 21-inch Italian-made forged wheels that weigh just 21 pounds each, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport rubber. CEC will also be adding special carbon-fiber trim pieces to the exterior and interior of the car, but has yet to provide further details.

    The LFA CEC Tuner Edition will be available soon for a slight premium over the price of the 2011 Lexus LFA with Nurburgring package.

    Inside Line says: This likely won't be the last tuner package for the LFA. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent

    Great.  CEC can also handle more of the overflow of RECALLS from TOYOTA while there at it.

    Looks like a 80's Celica.  It should rust away in about two years.

    WOW.....you guys crack my sh*t!!!!  The fury is palpable.  Hummmmm....I think the LFA is phenominal, BUT I wish Toyota would have brought back the legendary Supra instead of spending how much money and what, like 10-15 years developing this Super Car.  Honestly I think Lexus should stick to what it does best and stay within the "mid super car range" with the ISF.  You don't see Infinity or Acura coming out with some outragious, waaaay overpriced, out of reach beauty...why don't they just leave the real supercars to the big boys....like the Italians '0) - Oooohhhh, what door did I open there????

    Nice wheels, but this car is still a joke. Makes the GT-R look like an even better bargain than it is.

    @akula1,

    Oh really... Well, you don't even need a brain to see that in my comment, I am not blaming anyone for who was in control of it's position (according to an "expert" like you), although cars don't bounce or move after a crash (insert sarcasm here).

    My point was that the only one who died whas the driver of the LFA even when wearing a helmet and he did so in the neighborhood around the race track.

    I am sorry to have doubted you as an foreingn traffic accident expert that can determine how it happened just by looking at a picture and would know more than the police that whas actually there! (more sarcasm here please).

    Take off your Toyota fanboy glasses and see the truth.

    Not only tasteless but ignorant.  Anyone with more than the half a brain that you have could see the LFA was the car in control of it's position and the BMW with the two jackoffs was the one out of control.  LFA resting in the grass perfectly parallel w/ the rail and the lane without contact with the rail = controlled, intended position.  BMW oblique to and occupying both lanes = uncontrolled position.  I like how the Police still have yet to release the details of the crash since they are covering up for BMW.  Especially after BMW changed the story and details of the drivers and police.  Duetschland uber alles!  Moron.  For those that aren't blind and stupid:
