The F-Sport line includes a variety of modifications under the hood, including a low-restriction air intake, a durable carbon-fiber engine cover and a stainless steel exhaust system with double-wall exhaust tips.
Lexus owners can also choose a performance brake kit, which requires an upgrade to the graphite 19-inch F-Sport wheels and was developed by StopTech. Adding the short shifter and new clutch will help the vehicle manage up to 15 percent more torque. Handling is upgraded with new Bilstein shock absorbers and springs that lower the vehicle by an inch. A rear chassis brace and sway bar set reduce body roll and improve chassis stiffness.
Exterior goodies are also a part of the F-Sport line: a body kit includes front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a rear spoiler.
Most of the parts were developed with help from Toyota Racing Development and will hit U.S. showrooms beginning June 1. All upgrades carry a 12-month warranty or last as long as the remaining factory warranty on the vehicle, whichever is greater when the parts are installed.
