TORRANCE, California — When Lexus refers to its 2010 IS 350C F-Sport as a "special edition," it isn't kidding. Only 100 units will be built, priced from $58,375 each, including shipping, when they arrive at Lexus dealers later this month.
Toyota's premium brand is outfitting the IS 350C hardtop convertible with a variety of F-Sport accessories and will offer the car in only two exterior paint schemes: Tungsten Pearl and Obsidian.
The F-Sport hardware includes 19-inch forged-alloy wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tires (225/35ZR19 front and 255/35ZR19 rear); Bilstein shocks; uprated brakes and stabilizer bars; reduced ride height (one inch lower) and such cosmetic enhancements as a leather-wrapped shift knob, embroidered floor mats, unique F-Sport grille and badging.
The car will also feature such amenities as black leather upholstery with blue stitching, heated and ventilated front seats with wood trim, adaptive xenon headlamps, navigation and a rear back-up camera.

I wonder how its going to look after the police cruiser has to "slow" it down with its rear bumper. Another overpriced Toyota for the gold chain wearing, party store owning crowd. No surprise Lienert likes it.

I never realized how badly Lexus botched the convertible of this. Look at it, its like an old Merc SL hardtop convertible. The front is entirely bland, and the wheels with its blue calipers are totally out of character for this vehicle.
Probably the most uncohesive vehicle as of late.

For $60k, I can choose either a (FAR MORE) sexy Audi S5 or a (MUCH) cooler BMW M3.
Who cares that this car is only limited to 100 units? I'd still considered them an IDI0T!!

This is vehicle is ugly. Pontiac should sue Lexus for copying their G6 convertible.

I look at this car and just feel nothing........
It doesn't evoke any emotion at all.
My ball-sack is more exciting than this car!

gmhl10 says: "Weird... the description says nothing about the front and rear big brake kit that seems to be in the picture."
That what be what is obliquely and surruptiously referenced in the article as "upgraded brakes".
On topic: This limited edition makes the IS-F look like a steal of a deal.

Has the look the IS-F should have come with, but nearly $60k starting price for this??? Are they kidding? Think of what else you could get for that price. Just a quick few that come to mind: Corvette Grand Sport convertible, Shelby Mustang Cobra GT500, BMW M3, Cadillac CTS-V, Mercedes AMG C63... OK, I know none of them are hardtop convertibles, but still...
