2012 Land Rover Evoque  This is James Riswick for Inside Line and this week we have exclusive footage of the four-door Land Rover Evoque.   You’ve probably already seen the two-door Evoque that was unveiled recently in London, but at the time the company didn’t mention a four-door version.   There’s no doubt one is in the works, however, and our spy shooters have spotted prototypes testing at speed on the Nurburgring and in the heat of Death Valley.   From what we can see on these camouflaged prototypes, the four-door Evoque will maintain the two-door’s sleek profile.   With its slightly longer wheelbase, the Evoque four-door will be about the size of the BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK SUVs.   Land Rover has announced which engines will power the new Evoque, but there’s a good chance you’ll see a version of Ford’s turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood.   Ford has a long-term contract to supply engine to Land Rover, and the high-tech engine looks like a perfect fit for the urban-focused Evoque.   Look for more details when the Evoque has its official public debut later this month at the Paris Auto Show.    For inside Line.com, I’m James Riswick.

Nice stance. This could be a strong seller for LR if the fuel economy is respectable.
