Lamborghini Completes Series with Delivery of 20th Reventon

SANT'AGATA, Italy — Lamborghini has announced that the 20th and final Reventón — the rarest, most expensive and powerful Lamborghini of all time — has been delivered to its owner in the U.K.

Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Lamborghini SpA, handed over the keys to Reventón number 20 at the factory where the $1.4-million bull-bearing beast was put together. The new owner asked to remain anonymous, just like the 19 other people who purchased the rare Lambo supercar.

"The Reventón, however, is the most extreme of all [Lamborghinis] — a superlative on wheels. Based on the technical underpinnings of the Murciélago, we have concentrated and further enhanced the brand's DNA — its genetic code," said Winkelmann.

The carbon-fiber masterpiece boasts Lamborghini's 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 641 horsepower. It sprints to 60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds and maxes out at the breathtaking speed of 211 mph.

Inside Line says: Now interested buyers are going to have to shell out way more than $1.4 million in the secondary market to get in the driver seat of one of these menacing machines. — Mike Lysaght, Correspondent
