MIAMI — In a sign of the times, rapper Bow Wow was caught — on Twitter — bragging about his inebriated driving in a Lamborghini after visiting a nightclub on New Year's Eve. After blogs picked up and posted the tweets widely, he took the messages down and posted an apology calling himself "stupid and immature."
The original message read: "Face numb im whippin the lambo. Tipsy as f*k. " It was followed by another one, seeming to indicate he was headed to other clubs, reading: "Im f**ked up!!! Ohhhh damn. Y I drive the lambo. Chris might have to drive after next spot." Earlier in the evening, he had posted: "Im saying sorry now for what I might tweet...Im young n rich im goin hard 2nite."
The apology, still visible on Bow Wow's Twitter page, reads: "Apologize for that tweet. it was stupid and immature. not a way i want to kick my #2010 year off. i got too much good stuff lined up. my bad."
In a video posted on YouTube earlier this year, Bow Wow is shown seated in his Lamborghini Gallardo, which he calls his "big-boy Lambo," and bragging about the car in extremely colorful language.
Inside Line says: Twitter messages aren't enough to trigger a drunk-driving arrest, but let's hope the negative publicity was a wake-up call for the young rapper. — Laura Sky Brown, Correspondent

Another sign that Edmunds thinks gossip is car news.

Another sign that musicians and actors get paid too much...

Is it just me or is Twitter the new confession both for bad behavior. I like "bow Wow" as an actor more than a rapper, he' s played a role in both Tokyo drift and Driving Lessons so he should know better than to risk his career and the lives of others for a night of "going hard" he's young so he has plenty of time to atone for his mistakes. Hopefully his career is affected enough that he offers more than just an apology, but I hope his conscience hits him before the sales chart.

Idiots... why not be a little concerned about the welfare of others. He certainly has the money to make sure he has other means to get home safely.
This culture of celebrity worship is nonsense too.

I'm more concerned with the cocaine induced "face numbing" than him driving his lambo a lil tipsy. Who hasn't? I drive my lambo tipsy all the time...
