BAILDON, England — David Gallucci will never forget his wedding day for more than one reason. The bridegroom headed to the ceremony behind the wheel of a screaming yellow Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, rented for the day by his bride as a surprise — and totaled it almost immediately.
He and his best man, Warwick French, were unhurt in the accident. The trip from home to church was only 15 minutes, but Gallucci managed to smash into a fence, flip the car 360 degrees in the air and end up in a ditch.
"The back end skipped out while I was going around the roundabout," explained Gallucci to the British Daily Mail newspaper. His best man added, "We'd barely got the seats warm before we were climbing out the window."
Gallucci called a friend to pick them up in a more prosaic Range Rover, made it to the church on time, took his vows, and only then told his new bride what he had done.
The Lamborghini was a total loss, with damage estimated at more than $267,000. The bride, Abi Pattison-Hart, had paid more than $13,000 to rent the Lambo for the day. Fortunately, about $8,300 of that was a deposit to cover insurance for the supercar.

I bet he though he was being cool, turned off the stability control and tried to drift around the roundabout at 120kph. You have to treat supercars with respect. I only started turning off the traction/stability in my m-coupe after owning it for a month. Lp-640 has double the HP. He was just being reckless.

He should get a ticket for reckless driving too.

If the bride is willing to spring for a $13,000 joyride for her husband then I'd say she was "a keeper". Perhaps she should dump this Gallucci tool and mate with somebody who can drive.
