    Just the Facts:
    • The Italian supercar builder shows off its latest special edition, weeks ahead of the Geneva launch of the Aventador.
    • The Gallardo LP560-4 will be sold only in Europe and Asia-Pacific markets.
    • Americans will get only the Gallardo LP550-2.

DOHA, Qatar — Weeks ahead of its unveiling of new Aventador — the 12-cylinder Murcielago replacement — at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show, Lamborghini has pulled the covers off the limited-edition Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore.

The latest addition to the ever-expanding Gallardo family may also be the last, according to the company, which says the Bicolore "completes Lamborghini's 10-cylinder model range."

Curiously, the all-wheel-drive Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore will be offered only in Europe and Asia-Pacific markets. Americans will have to make do with the two-wheel-drive Gallardo LP550-2 Bicolore.

As the Bicolore name suggests, the new Gallardo comes in a two-tone exterior finish, with matching interior accents. The roof, pillars, front air intakes, rear spoiler and upper section of the rear diffuser are finished in black, while the lower body is offered in a choice of five colors, with such typical Lambo labels as Giallo Midas, Arancio Borealis, Grigio Telesto, Bianco Monocerus and Blu Caelum.

The 15-spoke Scorpius forged-alloy rims are painted titanium gray enamel.

Inside the cockpit, seats, door panels and instrument panel are upholstered in Nero Persus leather with contrasting stitching to match the lower body color.

Options include a satellite-navigation system, rearview camera, carbon-ceramic brake discs and heated power seats.

The Gallardo LP560-4 features a 560-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 and e-gear transmission that provide 0-60 acceleration in less than 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.

No word yet on pricing or availability.

I'd have to disagree with you Paul! We are not short-sheeted at all. In fact, I'd say we got the better end of the deal!

The only RWD Lamborghini we've been able to get in recent years is the limited edition LP 550-2 Balboni, so I'm actually really really happy that Lamborghini revived the chassis for the Bicolore limited edition in the US.

If I had the money to drop on a Lambo, this one is the one I'd get. 550hp and RWD in a Lamborghini! YES PLEASE! They should really make the RWD chassis a production run option for the Gallardo, not just an LE.
