2009 Lamborghini: What's New for 2009

Lamborghini's Gallardo is the recipient of power and weight changes for 2009, but the Murciélago remains unchanged.

2009 Lamborghini Gallardo: For 2009, the Lamborghini supercar is now called the Gallardo LP560-4, and a variety of changes have been made to its midmounted V10 engine, including direct fuel injection, for a gain of 40 horsepower. Now rated at 552 hp, the LP560-4 also sheds 45 pounds and gains quicker shift times from the optional sequential-shift automated manual transmission. Additional 2009 updates include revised rear exterior styling, increased chassis rigidity and rear suspension modifications adopted from the Audi R8.

2009 Lamborghini Murciélago: There are no significant changes for the 2009 Lamborghini Murciélago LP640.
