MUNICH, Germany — Images of the redesigned 2011 Kia Sportage, apparently leaked from the EU Patent Office, have surfaced on numerous Web sites, including Autoblog. The new Sportage is slated to make its official debut later this spring at either the Geneva or New York auto show.
Judging from the images, the new Sportage will share many of its basic design cues with the 2011 Kia Sorento, its larger sibling.
The 2011 Sportage is expected to share its underpinnings with the just-released 2010 Hyundai Tucson.
Inside Line says: No word yet on when the new Sportage will reach U.S. dealers, but it likely will be a fall debut. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent

Looks like a mix between a VW Tiguan and a Mazda CX7. I agree with other posters that after Hyandai doing well on the design front with recent launches this smacks of laziness.

It is quite apparent to me that this is just a tucson with a different front and rear clip just like the last generation.

Of all the great things that Hyundai did the last two years... this is the worst. The smell of overpowering LAZINESS is soooo apparent. +1 to stephen987 Tucson for me instead.

Ewww my ass it looks better than most in its class including the nice Tuscon. It looks just like a baby Lexus.
