LAS VEGAS — The Kia Rio Antenna is one of six sport-themed Rio concepts that will appear at the 2011 SEMA Show.
The surf-themed Rio five-door was created in collaboration with Antenna magazine. Kia describes the concept as a "one-of-a-kind retro ride aimed at totally radical surfing enthusiasts."
The Rio Antenna features sunset-metallic golden-brown paint and gold wheels, as well as a front splitter made of wood "to match an old-school surfboard," according to Kia.
A retro game console installed in the rear is designed to play '80s-style arcade games and music. The concept also has shelves for sandals and swimsuits.
Inside Line says: Kia readies the Rio for a day at the beach.
