NEW YORK — The next-generation Kia Optima will be publicly unveiled in early April at the 2010 New York Auto Show. An official teaser image was released Monday.
The new Optima will go on sale this fall as a 2011 model. In Europe, where the midsize sedan is marketed as the Kia Magentis, sales will begin in spring 2011.
The Optima has been completely redesigned inside and out. Kia says the new car is longer, lower and wider than its predecessor, with a longer wheelbase and more interior and trunk space.
Inside Line says: Judging from the official teaser image, the '11 Optima bears a strong family resemblance to other recent Kia designs, including the new Sorento and Sportage. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent

Hey when will kia stop making so many damn concept cars and come out with some redesign vehicles that will take the car market by storm? "The World May Never Know".

I'm really liking where Kia is headed with their product portfolio. Everything looks really good, and not whacky or odd, like before. My guess is that this whole Toyota fiasco will help their image out.
This car is called the Magentis in Canada, too.

It looks like a 2010 Optima. Like, exactly (as far as concept sketches go).
