FRANKFURT, Germany — Kia has released the first image of its restyled European compact, the Kia Cee'd, which gets a new family face that ties it more closely to such recent Kia products as the Forte sedan and the Sorento crossover.
The midcycle update includes new grille, lamps, hood and bumper. Kia also will upgrade the interior, which gets a revamped center console and an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity.
Kia said it will launch the face-lifted Cee'd in September at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, where it also plans to unveil two all-new models.
