- 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Look for Jeep to build another low-volume run of the Grand Cherokee SRT8, this time featuring Chrysler's 6.4-liter V8.
Jeep Grand Wagoneer
- 2013 Jeep Grand Wagoneer: Chrysler-Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne has said Jeep will add this Dodge Durango-based, seven-passenger SUV to its lineup for 2013.
Jeep Micro SUV
- 2014 Jeep Micro SUV: This new addition to the Jeep lineup will be a subcompact SUV based on the Fiat Panda.
Jeep Midsize SUV
- 2014 Jeep Midsize SUV: This Fiat-based SUV will eventually replace the Jeep Liberty in 2013.
Jeep Pickup
- 2013 Jeep Pickup: Marchionne has also said that Jeep will introduce a "multipurpose" vehicle with a pickup trucklike bed, even going so far as to suggest that it will be a version of the Wrangler-based Gladiator concept first shown in 2005.
Jeep Small SUV
- 2013 Jeep Small SUV: This Fiat-based SUV will take the place of the Compass and Patriot that will be discontinued after the 2012 model year.
Jeep Wrangler
- 2013 Jeep Wrangler: The Wrangler just received an interior refresh for 2011. Although we aren't expecting a major overhaul anytime soon, we do expect Jeep to swap out the aged 3.8-liter V6 for a smaller engine that provides better performance and fuel economy.

With clean diesels running all over the world, how about a torque rich fuel efficient wrangler that you can easily roll for 200000+ miles? I'd buy one in a heartbeat. My wife loves her TDI VW wagon and it's fun to drive. Why these car companies don't take advantage of this technology and educate consumers on the benefits is beyond me.
Think of all the low range gearing options you could work into a drivetrain like that. Not to mention you could easily get over 30 hwy MPG. If you offered it on the unlimited, it'd be heck of vehicle. Fuel efficient, capable of being a family hauler, convertible, leather option, 4x4, go anywhere, countless aftermarket options, and it's an iconic vehicle well under $40k... what's not to like?!?! Something for everyone.

You know what I'd like to see? A Jeep Wrangler Unlimited but about the size of the old (1998-ish) Cherokee or event the size of the Kia Sportage. Everything should "look" the same though. Traditional Jeep grill, flat fenders, removable cloth top with half doors. Why isn't this possible? I LOVE the Wrangler but it seems that with every redesign it gets bigger and bigger.
My favorites were my 1982 CJ-7 and my 1997 Wrangler. They were the right size, looked like Jeeps, and came in a 'utility' configuration. They just needed a four-door version. Now that we have it, the vehicle itself has expanded to the size of a Tahoe. Too much! That ain't gonna cut it in an area of $4 per gallon gas and eco-hybrids at every turn. If we want to save the 4x4 utility vehicle, let's go back to the size of the original Jeeps, just stretch em out a stitch and add the rear doors.
Does anyone agree with me here?
I've tried on many occasions to send friendly notes to Jeep with my ideas and thoughts but, alas, I never even get a "thanks for thinking of us" response. Considering I'm a guy who's driven Jeeps for 30 years, I'd think they might be more interested in the thoughts of a loyal customer.

Any inkling by Jeep to do a new Grand Cherokee....you know, the wood grain and everything? I would SOOOOO hold out for one especially if done with real metal and anywhere near the original.

Whatever you do Fiat, do not touch the basic jeep. Do not try to replace it with a little fiat. Forget it.
Come out with the Gladiator and keep the current jeep wrangler line. Get rid of the commander, patriot and compass. They are junk. This is the American market not Italy. No disrespect intended.

Danomule57's comments sure convinced me. Yesiree , ........ the word is "sewage" (not sewerage).
Seems like a market could exist for a smaller Wrangler type of Jeep .Something that looks like a Wrangler but maybe 3/4 size with a smaller engine .......maybe a 2.0 4 cylinder tuned for torque. Even if it were to be a two seater with a jump seat (3 seater?). It doesnt even need to be as heavy duty as a Wrangler as long as it was well made and reliable, cheaper and more "economicable" ( as my buddy Dano would say).

All I gotta say on this is...
TO ALL YOU FIAT(@_$ MFers), STOP F'n AROUND RIGHT NOW SCREWING WITH OUR "AMERICAN HERITAGE ICON" J E E P WITH THOSE SO-CALLED PLANS OF REPLACING MODELS WITH YOUR SEWERAGE. If it's got to be shoved up our >, save it for Dodge or Chrysler (not that I really want to see them their either).
TO OUR BELOVED CHRYSLER BRAIN-STORMERS, here's few thoughts I have, and wonder if other may agree too... (and in no particular order)
1) Drop current COMMANDER and replace with 7-pass version new '11 GC, whether keeping COMMANDER name or bringing back (GRAND) WAGONEER name as last used on the 1-year wonder Super Luxo version of a '93 GC.
2) KEEP the PATRIOT, but Permanently set the dial Straight South on the Compass when it's time along with its better looking twin (Caliber).
3) As for WRANGLER's, can we finally get rid of the WIMPY (@_$ almost same as the 3.7) 3.8 V6??? I say Stop Wasting the HOTT 4.0 V6 on the soon to be NIghTy-NITe fORever NITRO and put the Glory and Power back to where it originally came from and where it's needed whenever Duty Calls.
Not leaving LIBERTY out for any means, but when you already Got Something Good Out On The Road, YOU DON'T "F" WITH IT FIAT.

I am very disappointed why traditional SUV will gone. I know classic Wagoneer, Super Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer. Cherokee (based of classic Wagoneer), compact Cherokee, Jeep CJ5, original traditional SUV Grand Cherokee are passed away now. I hate hate goodbye farewell. if you need save older or old traditional Jeeps collection. I want you stop your own old Jeep is break down to junkyard because your own old Jeep can fix and needs new parts. I believe your own old Jeep will excellent condition will good healing.

This is a HORRIBLE addition to the Jeep line. Nonetheless, the Patriot seems to sell pretty well as I see them everywhere I look so this probably will too.

I still cannot understand how and why the Wrangler costs so much money. It is as sophisticated as Sarah Palin.
