AUBURN HILLS, Michigan — Chrysler's Mopar unit is preparing a series of special vehicles for the 44th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, including two new variants of the Jeep Wrangler. Teaser sketches were released late Friday.
This year's Moab event, which runs from March 27 to April 4, will see the official unveiling of the Jeep Wrangler J7, Jeep Wrangler Trail Boss, Jeep Patriot Extreme and Dodge Ram Power Wagon.
The J7 is based on the four-door Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, while the Trail Boss is based on the two-door Wrangler Rubicon. Mopar says the J7 is "designed to have the basic appeal of military-issued vehicles" while the Trail Boss is "built for serious off-road duty."
Mopar has released a few more details on the Patriot Extreme, which is finished in Sunburst Orange paint. It is equipped with a 2-inch Rocky Road Outfitters suspension lift, TJ "Moab" 16-inch alloy wheels shod with BFGoodrich KM2 tires, custom rock rails in the front and rear fascias, a roof-mounted snowboard carrier, Mopar slush mats and a Kicker audio system.
Mopar declined to divulge any details on the customized Power Wagon, other than to describe it as "the full-size pickup truck of choice in a range of off-road situations."

I have to admit that out of the Chrysler company the only brand I would buy from without a second thought would be Jeep especially since they never really seemed Chrysler-ish.

???
Everything I've read says that 'Jeep' is Chrysler/Fiat's halo brand.
