The automaker said the "value option package" offers $2,300 worth of "popular customer features for only $1,595."
The Jeep Patriot Rocky Mountain Edition starts at $19,765, including shipping. It bundles such features as 17-inch aluminum wheels, a power sunroof, monochrome exterior paint, Boston Acoustics speakers and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls.
The Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition starts at $25,355, including shipping, and bundles 17-inch painted tech silver aluminum wheels, uconnect tunes 30-gigabyte radio, a power sunroof, deep-tinted glass and speed control.
The 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Rocky Mountain Edition starts at $32,825 and bundles 17-inch machined-faced aluminum wheels with gray painted pockets, power sunroof, Boston Acoustics sound system, uconnect tunes 30-gigabyte stereo and heated front seats.
Earlier this month, Jeep reported that Patriot sales were down 58 percent in February 2009 versus February 2008. Jeep Liberty sales declined 45 percent in the same time period, while Jeep Grand Cherokee sales were down 34 percent. However, Jeep Wrangler sales increased 28 percent year over year, which may explain why there is no Rocky Mountain Edition of that vehicle.
