Also featured are two Le Mans winners, the long-nose D-Type that captured the 1957 race and the gorgeous C-Type that swept to victory in 1953. A third Le Mans car is the Malcolm Sayer-designed XJ13 prototype, which never raced but has long been revered by Jaguar aficionados.
Recent creations include the XFR Prototype — its 225.675-mph top speed last fall at Bonneville making it the fastest Jaguar ever — and the new XKR Goodwood Special.
The latter car, painted lime green with satin graphite accents, is based on the 2010 Jaguar XKR. It has a modified suspension with a lowered ride height, 21-inch wheels and tires, and a louder exhaust.
Inside Line says: There are almost too many luscious vintage Jags to count — and more than a few will be on hand at Goodwood. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
