2000 Jaguar XK 180
FRANKFURT - Jaguar isn't going to make a production version of the XK180 show car, but the 450-horsepower concept car has proven effective at generating both passion and performance. Based on a shortened version of the XKR Convertible, the all-new bodywork is handmade in aluminum and evokes the spirit of past Jaguars while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the XK sports car.
Although the styling is classical, the technology featured on the XK180 is thoroughly modern. Brembo brake components, aluminum suspension pieces and 20-inch wheels with Pirelli tires give the XK180 supercar performance. Several of these latest innovations, including the two-piece Brembo brakes and 10-inch wide wheels, will be available on production Jaguars.
