LONDON — Former late-night TV talk-show host Jay Leno, a devoted car collector and performance maven, has been hired to help executives formally unveil the redesigned 2010 Jaguar XJ sedan on Thursday at London's Saatchi Gallery.

Leno will join Jaguar boss Mike O'Driscoll in introducing the new XJ, which will be available in standard and long-wheelbase variants. The 2010 XJ will offer a variety of engines, ranging from a frugal V6 diesel to a 503-horsepower version of the supercharged V8 already seen in the 2010 XFR.

Inside Line says: Check back Thursday for video and official images. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
