MAHWAH, New Jersey — Photos and details are scant, but Jaguar on Monday confirmed that its 2012 U.S. lineup, including the Jaguar XF, XFR, XK and XKR, will debut next week at the 2011 New York Auto Show.
The biggest newsmaker is likely to be the face-lifted 2012 Jaguar XF sedan, which Jaguar teased on April 1.
The XF gets "restyled front and rear bodywork," said Jaguar in a statement, while the XFR gets "dramatic new styling that will further differentiate it from the XF sedan."
The 2012 Jaguar XK range also gets some styling tweaks and new, unspecified interior options.
The 2012 Jaguar XKR gets a new face, and Americans will get a firsthand look at the XKR-S, which debuted at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show.
The redesigned Jaguar XJ was introduced last year. Jaguar said the 2012 XJ will get "enhancements to the interior and to the options list." A new rear-seat comfort package on the Jaguar XJL Supersport bundles electric recline, lumbar adjustment and massage functions.

As a admitted fan of Jaguar cars, I still am hot and cold on the XF. It's magnificent interior is out of touch with it's white bread exterior. It has the right basic shape but no specifically interesting execution of that shape to differentiated it.
At least my old S-Type R had some character. The new Jaguars just look like cars, not like Jaguars. Based on the (small) numbers I see on the road, that isn't good.
Jaguar really needs a $50k 2 seat sports car to augment the line, with performance that is similar to the XK but in a smaller package. It also needs a $45k smaller saloon that is still a Jaguar.

@ejiji
RWD will never work in snow as well as AWD or FWD. Computer nannies don't change physics.
Just move to a place without snow and get the car you want.
I kinda want a XF or XJ given they DON'T look like the rest of the pack. The XF really beautiful when first released. Hopefully the redesign will be classy.

Love how they are taking dynamics and weight seriously. Too bad their designs all look like something from 1990s Fords.
How so? The new XJ looks like nothing else..

what they need is AWD options on their models. my last rwd-10years ago had so much trouble in the snow, i refuse to buy anything rwd even though they are supposed to be high performance cars. I'll probably never test drive a RWD car in snow so I will never know how they drive with new traction controls, but i will stick with AWD's as long as i live in a snowie hillie state...

Agreed. The front end needs some improvement. Possibly a more sweeping headlight set and menacing look. I love the look otherwise.

Hopefully the XF will look more like its concept version. It's a nice car, but it needs to look more mean.
