PARIS — As part of its pan-European rollout, Infiniti is introducing a new version of its compact crossover, the EX37, which shares its 3.7-liter V6 with the G37 coupe and sedan. The car debuts this week at the 2008 Paris Auto Show.
Americans can order the EX35, which is powered by a 297-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that makes 253 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. For Europe, the EX37's 3.7-liter V6 makes 315 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque, and comes with a standard seven-speed automatic.
The European version is offered in two trim levels: EX37 and EX37 GT.
What this means to you: Let's hope we get the bigger engine and the seven-speed in the not-too-distant future. — Paul Lienert, Correspondent
