ROLLE, Switzerland — Those hoping for an advance peek at the Infiniti concept, which is set for an unveiling on March 3 at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show, were probably a little disappointed at the images issued by the Japanese brand on Thursday.

The images showed Shiro Nakamura, senior vice president of Infiniti Design, driving an Infiniti FX50S on the way to the Louis Vuitton store in Tokyo to pick up custom luggage that goes with the concept. A second image shows Nakamura with the luggage.

"The dramatic concept will be a celebration of Infiniti and its 20-year history as a creator of performance cars," Infiniti said in a statement. "But equally it will be an inspiring exploration into the brand's future."

Louis Vuitton is the French luxury-goods brand beloved by celebrities.
