    What Is It?
    Hyundai Tiburon SC Concept

    What's Special About It?
Built by Street Concepts in Southern California, this two-tone Tiburon features a full complement of aftermarket enhancements that underscore this coupe's already sleek exterior bodywork. The carbon-fiber hood slopes down into a custom front fascia while extended sills and a carbon rear wing add some aftermarket flair. Three-piece Racing Hart wheels and dramatic two-tone custom paint finish off the eye-catching coupe.

But this Tiburon is about more than just looks, so the folks at Street Concepts added a few choice engine mods to crank up the horsepower. Larger throttle bodies and an intercooled turbocharger force-feed the 3.0-liter six while a Veilside performance exhaust routes the spent gases out. Eibach coilover shocks help get the ride quality just right, and when it all needs to come to a stop there are four Brembo calipers ready and waiting.

    Why Should You Care?
As trick as this Tiburon looks, it couldn't be duplicated without scanning scores of aftermarket catalogs for manufacturers who actually make Hyundai specific parts. That's about to change, however, as Hyundai has hooked up with H.A.R.D. parts, an aftermarket supplier, to create a line of Hyundai accessories available right from the dealer. Forget about trying to retrofit that Civic turbo kit in your Tiburon, these parts will be designed and engineered to fit Hyundais right from the start. Look for these parts at a Hyundai dealer near you by the end of the year. — Ed Hellwig
