I want some of what crossfire 2004 and colorado1874 are smoking. Seriously, it is quite clear that Hyundai is currently building several excellent quality cars, and the same cannot be said about Chrysler. I currently own a Chrysler Sebring Limited convertible, and it is my second Sebring convertible. I can tell you that they are NOT well-built, reliable vehicles. Why do I buy them then, if I know that they are basically lousy cars? I buy them because they are the perfect car for Florida. The top goes down, they seat 4 people, and they're incredibly cheap used cars! I just accept the fact that I will have to pay a for several repairs during the time that I own the car. I also have another car to drive while the Sebring is in for repairs.
If Hyundai would build a Sonata convertible, they would own the moderately-priced 4-seater convertible market. I think that just the rental car market would be enough to justify building it, but I'm sure that there would be plenty of other buyers.
